Create your very own winter lantern to use in our lantern parade on Sunday 8 December.

Workshop tickets include parking tickets for the parade the following day.

SATURDAY 7TH DECEMBER | 6.30PM

Walk down the red carpet, indulge in a glass of fizz and a three course Christmas meal before an evening with a license to thrill!

SUNDAY 8TH DECEMBER | FROM 4.30PM

The parade will begin at 4.30pm, led by the amazing LED drumming troupe Worldbeaters SPARK! who will be lighting the way through the darkness joined by a giant puppet from the wonderful Small World Theatre. We’ll then head back to the Visitor Centre for Christmas carols by the amazing Ogmore Valley Silver Band, starting at 5.30pm.

Parking available for parking ticketholders ONLY. The parade is free to attend.

SUNDAY 8TH DECEMBER | 12PM

Join us for a festive afternoon to  remember with a special visit from the big man himself!

Enjoy an afternoon tea in our beautiful marquee before creating memories to last a lifetime as Santa arrives to read a Christmas story to the group.

14TH, 15TH, 21ST AND 22ND DECEMBER | 10.30AM TO 3.30PM

Santa has lost his reindeer in Bryngarw, can you help find them? Collect your map from the café along with your bag of reindeer food and head out to find the lost reindeer and be in with a chance of winning tickets an annual car parking pass for Bryngarw Country Park.

Maps and reindeer food can be purchased from the café (£4) in Bryngarw Park and payment is card only.

Eyes down for an evening of bingo with a twist!

When the audience become diners in the ‘Faulty Towers’ restaurant, pretty much anything can happen – because 70% of the show is improvised. The fun starts as guests wait to be seated. It then hurtles along in a 2-hour tour de force of gags and shambolic service as Basil, Sybil and Manuel serve a ‘70s-style 3-course meal together with a good dollop of mayhem.

SUNDAY 16TH FEBRUARY 2025 | 2PM TO 4PM

Whether it’s a Valentine’s celebration with your other half or a chance to do something different with your Galentine’s, join us at Bryngarw House where the Tipsy Kahlo will lead a love-themed paint along workshop, all while sipping some bubbly!

SATURDAY 1ST MARCH 2025 | 12PM TO 2PM AND 2.30PM TO 4.30PM

As the patron saint of Wales, St David is said to have lived for more than 100 years and died on 1st March 589.

Join us at Bryngarw House on Saturday 1st March from 12pm to 2pm or 2.30pm to 4.30pm, to celebrate with afternoon tea prepared by our Head Chef, using only the best Welsh and local produce, including ingredients grown within our own grounds.

Enjoy the soft sounds of harpist, Caroline Greenwood, who will be playing traditional Welsh tunes throughout the afternoon.

Awen are working in partnership with Tanio to offer weekly creative arts groups to anyone struggling with loneliness or isolation, living with poor mental or physical health, or who would benefit from seeing a friendly, welcoming face or meeting new people.

The free sessions, funded by Bridgend County Borough Council, offer art, music, movement and creative writing opportunities at Y Nyth, our Education and Wellbeing Centre.
