The Park

Bryngarw Country Park has all the facilities you need for a great day out, including a picnic area, play areas for the children and refreshments at our newly-refurbished café, whether you are visiting with your family, taking the dog for its daily walk, or enjoying some fresh air on your own.

Toilets are located near the visitor centre in the main car park. They are open when the park is open to visitors. There is also a Changing Places accessible facility in the visitor centre, including an overhead hoist and wall-mounted bed. You will also find the baby changing unit in this space. These facilities do not require a RADAR key.

The Café

The café serves a range of hot and cold refreshments, snacks, delicious cakes and ice creams. We pride ourselves on offering great customer experience, with a focus on using high quality, locally sourced produce.

Take a look at our current menu before visiting.

Opening hours are 10am until 3.30pm from November to March and 10am until 4pm from April to October.

The café is managed by Awen Trading Ltd, the trading subsidiary of Awen Cultural Trust, a registered charity. All profits are reinvested into the maintenance and upkeep of Bryngarw Country Park for the benefit of all its visitors.

Car parking

Entry to Bryngarw Country Park is free, and it costs just £3.50 a day to park. We accept cash and contactless card payments. For our regular visitors, we recommend buying an annual season ticket from the café. This costs £42 and allows you to park free of charge for 12 months from the date of purchase.
