Whatever age your children are, there is plenty for them to enjoy at Bryngarw. You can let them loose in our adventure playground with its famous tower slide and natural play area, which is fantastic for building dens. For indoors fun, head to our new visitor centre where they can enjoy the discovery area with its central willow den in which storytelling sessions are held.
These aren’t the only children’s events held at Bryngarw: check our events page for a huge range of options, from outdoor theatre to ranger-led explorations of the park. At Christmas we have a special reindeer trail for children. Other walks include waymarked nature walks, all at ¾ mile or less.

When you’re ready for refreshments, our café is a relaxing, child-friendly environment in which to enjoy a snack or a light meal and has a lovely outdoors seating area for finer days. You also have the option to hire a barbeque or bring a picnic to enjoy in the park.
