INSECT WEEK FAMILY DAY

Come along to join the ranger team for a full day of insect themed activities on Saturday 27 June, activities include a Moth Trap, Minibeast Hunt, Pond Dipping and an Insect Walk. Booking is essential, apart from the Moth Trap activity, which is a free, drop-in event.

BRYNGARW BIOBLITZ

Team up with the rangers for our very first BioBlitz on Saturday 18 July, enjoy a full day of activities designed to discover, identify, and record as many species of wildlife as possible in 24 hours. Activities include Early Birds, Moth Trap, Pond Dipping, Feathered Friends, Insect Walk and Plant Detectives. Booking is essential, apart from the Moth Trap activity, which is a free, drop-in event.

WILDLIFE WEDNESDAYS

Held every Wednesday during the summer holidays, choose from a Minibeast Hunt or Pond Dipping on alternating weeks. Booking is essential.

JUNIOR RANGERS 2026

Join the ranger team every Wednesday of the summer holidays and work towards becoming a Junior Ranger by completing different activities including, Nature Journaling, Insect Walk, Bird Watching, Minibeast Hunt, Pond Dipping & Welsh Words Nature Walk (Bilingual). Booking is essential.

OUTDOOR THEATRE: THE RAILWAY CHILDREN
