Parking costs £3.50 for half day and £5 for a full day. Alternatively, you can purchase an annual car parking pass that is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, for £42.
All car parking income is reinvested back into the park to make it a beautiful place to visit all year round.
No! There is no entry fee to enjoy the facilities at Bryngarw Country Park.
Yes, we have 5 disabled parking spaces, however, blue badge holders can park anywhere in the car park, as long as their badge is clearly displayed.
We host a wide variety of events and activities all year round, from ranger-led activities to professional events such as outdoor theatre performances. Visit our What’s On page to find out information about upcoming events.
Absolutely! Our cafe is also dog friendly; all we ask is that you adhere to our ‘Canine Code’ if you visit with your four-legged friend.
Please ensure dogs are kept on leads in the main area of the park and that you pick up and dispose of dog waste in the bins provided.
We have also recently installed a dog wash from The Dog Wash Company, located next to the visitor centre and car park.
You can see our full cafe menu here.
Technically, the park never closes, as it is open to the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. However, our facilities, including the toilets and visitor centre are open from 9.30am to 5.30pm daily, and our cafe is open from 10am to 4pm daily.
Yes, however, we kindly ask that cyclists only use the designated cycle track.
There is a National Cycle Network route (884) which starts at Bryngarw Country Park and finishes at Blaengarw. It is mainly traffic free so is perfect for families to follow.
Feeding the ducks at Bryngarw is a lovely family tradition that helps young children connect with nature.
You are welcome to feed the ducks, but we would prefer if you didn’t feed them bread. Duck food is available to buy from the cafe for just £1, or consider bringing oats, sweetcorn, peas or other seeds with you, as these are much healthier for them.
We have play equipment which is suitable for all ages and abilities. Adult supervision should be provided at all times.
We are committed to providing inclusive play opportunities for all children, and in recent years we have invested in accessible equipment including a wheelchair swing, basket swing and roundabout.
You can also find a PECS® board in the car park for visual support.
B-Leaf is open to the public from Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm. Their summer bedding stock and hanging baskets are on sale from May every year, but some shrubs and plants are available to buy all-year-round. B-Leaf also sells Christmas trees and festive plants in early December. We are grateful to customers who support B-Leaf, a work-based programme for adults with learning disabilities, through their purchases and donations.
