The Park

Bryngarw Country Park has all the facilities you need for a great day out, including a picnic area, play areas for the children and refreshments at our newly-refurbished café, whether you are visiting with your family, taking the dog for its daily walk, or enjoying some fresh air on your own.

Toilets

Toilets are located near the visitor centre in the main car park. They are open when the park is open to visitors. There is also an accessible facility in the visitor centre, including an overhead hoist and wall-mounted bed. You will also find the baby changing unit in this space. These facilities do not require a RADAR key.

The Café

From Monday 11th November 2024, the café will be moving to our winter menu, which is hot and cold drinks, sweet treats including cakes and brownies, and ice cream. We pride ourselves on offering great customer experience, with a focus on using high quality, locally sourced produce.

Opening hours are 10am until 4pm, 7 days a week.

The café is managed by Awen Trading Ltd, the trading subsidiary of Awen Cultural Trust, a registered charity. All profits are reinvested into the maintenance and upkeep of Bryngarw Country Park for the benefit of all its visitors.

Entry to Bryngarw Country Park is free, and it costs just £3.50 to park for a half a day and £5 to park all day. We accept cash and contactless card payments. For our regular visitors, we recommend buying an annual season ticket from the café. This costs £42 and allows you to park free of charge for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Bryngarw is managed by Awen Cultural Trust, a registered charity, number 1166908. The car parking income we receive is reinvested back into the Country Park, to make it a beautiful place to visit all-year-round.
